TELECONFERENCE MEETING – SEPTEMBER 24, 2020

At 7:30 a.m., Warren Gall, M.D., Chair, called the meeting to order. Roll call was taken.
On a motion by Warren Gall, M.D., seconded by Ronald Kolegraff, M.D., all members present voted to meet in closed session, pursuant to Iowa Code Sections 21.5(1)(a), 21.5(1)(d) and 21.5(1)(f), to review or discuss records which are required or authorized by state or federal law to be kept confidential, discuss the contents of a licensing examination or whether to initiate licensee disciplinary investigations or proceedings, and discuss the decision to be rendered in a contested case.
In open session, the following were discussed - the Board took no actions.
1. Consideration of the Confidential Clinical Competency Evaluation Order for file 03-2020-106 was left open
2. Consideration of the Confidential Clinical Competency Evaluation Order for file 02-2019-523 was left open.
3. Consideration of the Confidential Clinical Competency Evaluation Order for file 02-2018-046 was left open.
4. Consideration of licensure for a Permanent License Application was left open.
On a motion by Ronald Koleraff, M.D., seconded by Warren Gall, M.D., the Board voted six ayes, Gall, Kolegraff, Wagle Caviness, Fasbender, Romanco to 1 nay, Vista-Wayne, to adopt the Physician Supervision of a Physician Assistant 21.4 – NIA ARC 5133C.
On a motion by Patricia Fasbender, D.O., seconded by Joyce Vista-Wayne, all members present voted to adopt the Iowa Physician Health Program 2020 Rule Revisions - NIA ARC 5132C.
On motion by Warren Gall, M.D, seconded by Trudy Caviness, all members present voted to approve the Iowa Physician Health Program Committee recommendation for new member appointment, Allison Gillies, LISW, IAADC.
At 7:49 a.m., on a motion by Joyce Vista-Wayne, M.D., seconded by Nikhil Wagle, M.D., the meeting was adjourned.
