Teleconference meetings are scheduled between regular board meetings. Board meetings and teleconferences are open to the public; however, portions of the meetings may be closed pursuant to applicable Iowa law. Meeting agendas for Board meetings are posted about two weeks before each regularly scheduled meeting and 24 hours before teleconference calls. They are posted on this website as well as at the Iowa Board of Medicine, 400 SW Eighth Street, Suite C, Des Moines, Iowa. To be added to the electronic meeting notification list, please send an email to: join-IABMPRESSRELEASE@lists.ia.gov. If a meeting or teleconference results in filing charges or any formal disciplinary action, a summary of the action is posted in a press release approximately one week after the Board meeting.
